

At the age of 92, on September 22nd 2021 Ella Mae Jones departed from this life while in the comfort of her home located in Manchester , New Jersey.
Ella was employed at Jamaica Hospital as a nurse's aide in the intensive care unit. She was often recognized for her exemplary work ethics. She was admired by those who worked closely with her .She maintain a clear focus and calmness during stressful situations.
In 1970 Ella and her husband Clarence B. Jones became foster parents through Brooklyn Bureau Of Community Service while living in the State of New York. The children she fostered would soon come to know Ella as "Nana". After her retirement from Jamaica Hospital and the passing of her husband Clarence, Ella moved to New Jersey.
In the early 1990's Ella would also mourn the death of her beloved daughter Buena Irene Jones.
As a licensed foster mother through the State of New Jersey, Nana continued to open her heart and her home to foster children. Nana also served her community by babysitting for neighbors and parents in the workforce. In the mid 90s Nana adopted four girls.
In 1999, Ella dedicated her life to Jehovah God through means of water baptism. She served faithfully as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 22 years. Sister Jones was actively present at the meetings, assemblies and conventions. Ella loved her spiritual family very much.
To the congregation : The family is eternally grateful and thankful for all the love, support, visits, cards, flowers, phone calls and care they have provided, everything was very much appreciated.
Ella is preceded in death by her beloved great grandson Anthony Joseph Coston.
Ella is survived by her daughters; Natasha Nicole Jones, Satisha Marie Jones- Billman ,Shamika Lorraine Jones and La'Robyn Buena Jones.
grandchildren; Anthony Bernard Jones, Marcus Thompson, Faith Elizabeth Bodino. - Sisters; Mary Brown, Mildred Hilliard, Laura Wright and myriads of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family

Sheryl: My dear aunt Ella: It's been a long hard road for you but thru it all you positively answered Jehovah's call. Dedicated your life to him and stuck to him, come what may. That was the most important thing you've ever done in your lifetime. Nothing else matters!!! So while you are resting, I will continue to do all that I can to stick to Jehovah, so I can have the opportunity to see you and my mom again in paradise.
Tanya: Aunt Ella I am going to miss you so much , you were a second mom to me and my siblings. You were always there for us.
Ricky: I was raised with the love of three parents: My father William Wright, mother Evelyn Wright and Aunt Ella Jones. The love and guidance I received from all three sculptured me into the man I am today and I am eternally grateful for their presence in my life .I Love you Auntie and will miss you dearly.
David, Danielle, Jordan and Jalen: Thank you Auntie Ella! You have touched the lives of so many in countless ways. I am honored to have been one of those blessed by your presence and fortunate enough to have experience your love! I will always cherish the memories of your sassy candor, funny stories, delicious homemade meals ,personal recollections f family history and most of all your feisty spirit ! Rest in peace Aunt Ella. We love you. Forever in our hearts.

Jo-Anne : Auntie I can see with Jehovah's help he made you firm and strong enough to endure to the end. What more could we ask for. I enjoyed the last time we were together and the things we talked about. I will always reflect on it when I begin to feel overwhelmed. Knowing you are in Jehovah's book of life makes this a happy occasion. I love you dearly and can't wait to see you in paradise.
Rahsan: As funny as it sounds I always thought : out of all my Aunts, my Aunt Ella would live forever. Unfortunately that's not how life works. I only have good memories from the times I have seen you which was limited but nonetheless priceless. Gone but not forgotten you will be missed by many, however we will up at the kingdom. Rest In Peace.

SHE ALWAYS WANTED THE BEST FOR ME. I WISH SHE COULD OF HELD ON A LITTLE LONGER UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO SEE HER, BUT ULTIMATELY GOD HAD OTHER PLANS.
