Faith E. Kline passed from this Life on Thursday, March 24th. She leaves behind a daughter, Camela Krzeszewski of Brick Town, NJ, a son, Joseph J. Wilberscheid IV of Toms River, NJ, a sister Ramah Fulton of Camp Hill, Pa., nephews John W. Fulton of Colorado, Richard Fulton of Camp Hill, Pa and countless students and associates from her musical career.
Faith was born to Ruth M. Strausser and William Strausser in Sheridan, Pa and holds a Masters Degree in Early Education Administration from Penn State University and a Bachelors Degree in Early Education and Musical Performance from Westchester University, Pa. She then used her musical ability in voice, piano and organ to train and coach vocal students, many who went on to college and then found their own Success in musical fields including Broadway.
Possessing a solo soprano voice herself, she sang both here and abroad including London, England in such works as Handel's Messiah.
Her love of God and ability to both interpret and compose music lead her to becoming organist and choir director for many local Churches including most recently the Forked River Presbyterian Church and at the time of her passing the Pinelands Reformed Church in Toms River.
Her immense talent was recognized by the community as well as she was sought after by local musical theater and served for many years as the Music Director of "Three Story Players Theatre Company" at Ocean County College.
At the same time, she acted since 2001, as Music Director for the Toms River High School South's musical productions and worked with a 49 student cast and full orchestra in their latest production March 3rd-5th of this month "The Drowsy Chaperone".
Aside from her musical life, Faith's generous nature was apparent to all who moved in her life circle and no one would be surprised that she even gave holiday gifts to her local sanitation men and "tipped" the men who pumped her gas on cold winter nights so they could buy something warm to drink.
Besides her Church, she contributed to many non-profit organizations but her heart remained with the animals. A Benefactor to Popcorn Park Zoo and other animal care facilities she could often be found talking to the deer grazing outside her door.
Her cheerful home was made even brighter by her own "fur babies", "kitties" who loved to curl up with her, most recently Cinnamon and YoYo.
As per her request, there will be no viewing or visitation but a special Celebration Service will take place on May 21st at 11:00am, at The Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753, when a select group of her students and associates will honor her memory with music and song.
Please enter your special memory of Faith in the obituary section on Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services website by May 5th, as these memories will be compiled in a booklet and given to all who attend her Celebration Service.
As one student shared.."She taught us how to GIVE THE MUSIC LIFE and the music in turn GAVE US LIFE!"
In lieu of flowers, Faith has requested money donations be made to benefit her favorite animal shelters as well as the music program at Toms River High School South with the ultimate goal of replacing the Performance Piano at the High School in her honor.
Please send any and all donations you are moved to contribute to Kristine Perry (Theater Arts Director at the High School) 114 Brick Avenue Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey 08734
Please make checks out to Kristine with a notation in the memo area if you have a specific request.
Heaven has a new Angel now and she can sing, play the organ and piano and direct the 9 Choirs of Angels. We thank God that he has allowed her to touch our lives. A Bright Light has gone out for those of us who loved her.
Faith was 77.
