

Fentress, known to most as Dale, was born in 1933, in Jamestown, North Carolina. At the age of 18, Fentress enlisted in the United States Airforce and was proud to serve as a Flight Engineer/Mechanic. After leaving the military, Fentress went on to work for Sears and Roebuck working his way up to a management position. Upon leaving Sears and Roebuck, Fentress went on to become a self-made business man and owned and operated two successful business along with his wife Angelina; Dial-A-Temp and Howell Recreational Vehicles. Along with owning two businesses, Fentress was involved with The Board of Health, The Rotary Club, The Free Masons, and The Shriners. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
In 1956, Fentress met his wife of 65 years, Angelina in Jersey City. Shortly after their marriage in 1957, they moved to Howell Twp and later moved to Toms River. They had two daughters. Fentress is survived by his wife Angelina, two daughters Grace Lee and Susan and her husband John. He will be fondly missed by his grandchildren Andrew, his wife Katherine, Ashley, her husband Chase, Angelina, and Saralee; and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends and anyone that met him.
