Florence E. Lott

Mrs. Lott taught at St. Mary and St. Gerard in Paterson during her over forty year career as a Catholic Educator.  She enjoyed cooking, music, and dancing, but especially loved spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2006, and by her siblings, Rev. John (Gaetano) Frega, OFM, Cap.; and James, John, and Stephan Frega.  She is survived by her children, Paula M. Lott of Berkeley Twsp., Theresa Lott-Guarriello (Gary) of Toms River, and Michele Lott-Mamary (Scott Weh) of Edison; her grandchildren, Erica Farinella (Anthony), Gary Guarriello, Jr. (Jessica Almeida), and Jennie Mamary (Matty Raz); and her great-grandchildren, Isabella Guarriello and Luca and Aria Farinella.

Cremation was private.  A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 1-4pm at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at St. Joseph RC Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Lott’s memory in honor of Aria Farinella can be made to: Foundation for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types (FIRST), 2616 N.
