She was born and raised in Newark, moved to Milburn in the late 80's before buying a home in Holiday City, Toms River in 1995.
Fran worked at Prudential in Newark and Roseland in the Individual Life Dept. for 45 years before retiring. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Fran was an avid walker who would venture out for her daily excursions in almost any weather. She was a regular church goer at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church in Berkeley Township and would pray the rosary daily for loved ones. Fran had an open heart and would always donate to children, veteran and many other organizations for the less fortunate in her area.
Fran was pre deceased by her parents Joseph and Theresa, four brothers Charles, Joseph, Bella, and Steven, 6 sisters, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Tessie, Mary, Helen, and Margaret. She is survived by a sister Vivian, 16 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Fran was always the life at any family gathering, she could always be seen laughing, playing, and dancing. Her love of the children both in and out of her family was second to none. She was most notably known as Aunt Fran or Aunt Franny and was always there to help her nieces and nephews. Whether she was taking them on trips, buying them clothes, sending a card sealed with a kiss, or just spending time with them, she always made them feel special. Aunt Fran became a third grandmother to her triplet great nieces Kayla, Kaitlyn, and Kara whom she helped care for.
Kind, generous, fun loving, and loyal are all words used to Describe Fran. She lived her life the way she wanted and is surely at peace being reunited with her family.
