Frances Swidrak

Frances Swidrak, age 81, of Toms River, passed away at home on April 19, 2023. Born in Passaic, she lived in Clifton from 1964 to 2014 before moving to Toms River in 2014. Fighting cancer 2021 to hospice care, thanks to Dr. Aaron Stefan, Dr. David Estin, Dr. Ilan Waldman, Dr. Mitchell Weiss, and many thanks to Dr. Seth Cohen.

Those family, friends, and coworkers “near and far” were honored to know Frances and her sweet smile. She was outgoing, loving, understanding, and caring. As Frances loved her work, being an R.N./C.C.U. nurse until she was 70 years old. As a child, Frances always wanted to help people.

Frances is predeceased by her husband, Frank Swidrak; and many family members.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Swidrak and Tina DiGregorio Swidrak; daughters, Kristine Swidrak and her fiancé, Joe Tanski, Beverly Swidrak and her husband, Rob Cenci; 11 loving grandchildren; and 7 loving great grandchildren.

Frances will be deeply missed and always remembered. Your years of memories will last forever, in our hearts, daily.

Frances wanted to give thanks to her caregivers and doctors in Brick and the love and care by V.N.A. “Hospice Nurses” Patty, Lori, Ruth, and staff who were at home with her daughter, Kristine, who daily took care of her to the end.

Frances requested no flowers, and all contributions to be made to daughter Kristine Swidrak to help continue the repass gathering and Frances' personal bills.

A viewing will be held at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ, on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 from 1 PM to 3 PM.
