Francis J. Connolly Jr.

Francis J. Connolly, Jr. 77 of Toms River passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in New Brunswick surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cumberland, Maryland and spent his infant years in Oakland, Maryland with his family. They eventually moved to Hagerstown, Maryland and he grew up there. Frank graduated from Catholic University in DC then met his wife Mary Ellen and they got married in Bayonne on July 6, 1979.They moved to Toms River in 1985 to raise their children.

Frank retired from the United States Post Office after 37years. He enjoyed to swim, play golf, strum on his guitar, spend weekends in Pennsylvania with his family and annual family vacations.

Frank was predeceased by his wife, (MaryEllen Connolly), parents (Francis Sr. & Catherine Connolly).Surviving are his loving children Maureen and Michael; his cherished grandson, Hobie; his sister, Patricia Quayle, many nieces & nephews and extended family members.

A visitation for Frank will be held Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A funeral mass to celebrate his life will occur Monday, July 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753. Burial will follow Monday, July 7, 2025 at St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753.
