Francis X. Connolly, of Pine Beach, formerly of Glen Ridge and Cedar Grove died Sunday evening, October 30, 2016. A proud graduate of Xavier High School, The College of the Holy Cross, Fordham School of Social Work, and Seton Hall School of Law, he exemplified the Jesuit motto of “a man for others.” After years as a Social Worker for the Archdiocese of Newark, he practiced law in the Bloomfield area for over forty years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marya, his daughters Marybeth Olbrys, Maureen Baach, Megan Connolly, and stepchildren Austen-Leigh DePinto, Vincent DePinto, and Kevin DePinto, his brother Nicholas Connolly and sister in law Georgina Pando-Connolly. He also leaves six grandchildren and many dear friends. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River at 10:00 am on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016.
