
Frank W. Kirkleski, Jr. 83, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at Community Medical Center on September 20, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ. He resided in Trenton, Hightstown, Willingboro, Pine Beach, NJ, and Sarasota, FL, before settling in Toms River in 2009. Frank served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 through 1958 and the Naval Reserve from 1958 to 1960. He received his undergraduate and Master degrees in Business Administration from Rider College. He continued his education for his doctorate in Public Administration. Frank began his career in the Mercer County Probation Department in 1966 and worked in the Administrative Office of the Courts in Passaic, Burlington and Ocean County through the years. He retired from the position of Trial Court Administrator of Ocean County in 1999 after 20 years. He was an amazing man with a bright smile and tremendous sense of humor who loved his family dearly and cherished spending time with them.
Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley Kirkleski; his father Frank W. Kirkleski; his mother Dorothy Kirkleski; and his sister Suzanne MacGregor. Frank is the beloved father of Robin Florio and husband Ralph, and Jon Kirkleski; devoted grand-father of Ralph Florio, III, Alyssa Florio and Jon Kirkleski; loving uncle of Michele Buchanan, Chris Evans, Stuart MacGregor and Glenn MacGregor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, September 29th at 11:00 am at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753. The family would appreciate donations to “Alzheimers NJ” @ www.alznj.org in lieu of flowers.
