Freddy was born January 13, 1954, in Elizabeth, NJ, to James and Julia (Ellish) Clague.
He worked as a produce manager at Stop and Shop for many years. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and nephews. He enjoyed baking and cooking and was always tying new recipes every chance his had. He shared a passion for traveling with a large group of friends.
He is survived by his son Eric Clague, life-partner Patty Kampmeier, Sister Linda Knight, brother Robert Clague, and mother Julia Racano as well as his former wife and friend, Anna Clague.
Freddy was predeceased in death by his father James, brother James and step-father Jerry.
A wake and celebration of his life will be on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street in Toms River from 2-5pm. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River.
