Fred served in the United States Army. He was a retired Fire Captain of the Hoboken Fire Department.
He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert Meyer and Connie Bussacco. Fred is survived by his wife, Kathryn Meyer; his daughter, Corrie Meyer; his grandchildren, Thomas Suckiel and Annabella Apsel; his great grandchildren, Marlee Suckiel and Armonie Suckiel.
Friends and family are welcome to a memorial gathering on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ.
Services at the cemetery will be on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
