Gail Sinclair McKinnon, 67, of Toms River, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living in Toms River. Born in Orange, she lived in Bloomfield before moving to Toms River in 1968. Gail was active as a volunteer for Community Medical Center and Holiday Care Center. She was very active with The Salvation Army in Toms River, especially taking part in many volunteer jobs such as meals for the homeless.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Elsie McKinnon and her brother John McKinnon Jr. Surviving are her sister Jane M. Crowther and her husband John of Longboat Key, Fl and Seaside Park; nine nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1906, Toms River, NJ 08753 in Gail’s memory.
