Ms. Kregers was a veterinary assistant and trained animals for years. She was an active member in various animal organizations and would show German Shepherds in prestigious dog shows.
Guna was predeceased by her parents, Janis and Velta Kregers, and her brother, Juris Kregers. Surviving is her brother, Indulis Kregers, and his wife, Caroline; sister-in-law, Jan Adamczyk-Kregers of San Diego, CA and her lifelong friend and housemate, Eileen Simone.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 11AM to 1PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Guna's honor to your local animal shelter.
