

Ilsa Martha Pitt of Holiday City at Berkeley, was born May 17, 1920 and went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2015. Ilsa was an active golfer and bowler into her early eighties. She was a member of the Gymnastic Society of Fairview, NJ, and the Carlstadt Turnverein and Holiday City Variety Clubs. Ilsa was a member of the First Baptist Church for 39 years. She loved her Lord and Savior and served on the Deaconess Board.
Ilsa was predeceased by her husband Arthur E. Pitt, her first love, in 2002, after 61 years of loving marriage. She is survived by her four children: Carolyn and her husband Ron Staso of Whiting, Art Pitt and his wife Pat of Forked River, Richard Pitt and his wife Judy of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Gregory Pitt of Toms River, who has been her devoted companion and care giver for the last eight years. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 30th, from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her name to The Bread of Life Food Pantry, c/o The First Baptist Church, 700 Main Street, Toms River, NJ.
