Irene Stanziano, 84, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey in Lakewood. Born in Jersey City, Irene lived there for many years before moving to Toms River in 1992. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Toms River for more than 25 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Sophie Mairowicz, her son John, and brothers Arthur and Walter. Surviving is her husband of 67 years Gabriel Stanziano; her children Michael, Valerie Wilson, Stephen and his wife Doreen, Alan and his partner Jacky, and Darren; 5 grandchildren Michelle, Anthony, Gabriel, Lisa and Damian; and her sister Helen Borsella.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
