Iris Hannah Schacht, 56, of Beachwood, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at home after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. Iris grew up in Hazlet, NJ, and was a graduate of Glassboro College. After marrying the love of her life, Walter Schacht, she moved to Beachwood in 1988. Presently she was working for Skanska USA Civil, in Queens, NY.
Iris was predeceased by her father, Mort Temes. Surviving is her mother, Ruth Temes; her husband, Walter Schacht; one son, Zane Schacht; one daughter, Roxanne Schacht; and one brother, Steven Temes.
Visiting will be Sunday, June 8th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private.
