Dr. Jaime Ball, 71, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 with his loving family at his side. Born in Guantánamo, Cuba, Jaime came to the United States to build a life defined by compassion, integrity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
After receiving his degree from UMDNJ, Jaime proudly served with the United States Navy Dental Corps. Jaime was a highly respected endodontist who spent his career in private practice, where he earned the admiration of colleagues and was cherished by patients.
Nevertheless, Jaime would tell you that his proudest accomplishment in life was being a devoted father and grandfather. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and beloved grandchildren. From playing baseball in the yard to sharing stories of Cuba and teaching his grandchildren Spanish, the moments with his family are what he treasured most.
To know Jaime was to know laughter. He had an infectious sense of humor and was the life of every party. His generous heart, kindness, and ability to connect with anyone he met made lasting impressions that will never be forgotten.
Jaime was predeceased by his parents, Ena and Jaime Ball. He is survived by his daughter Kelsey Ball and her husband, Zachary Rodina, along with their children, Jaxon, Cameron, and Cade Rodina; his daughter Gabrielle Ball; his sons J.T. and Jacob Ball; his siblings Nancy Juan, Jorge, Julio, Juan, and Andres Ball; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Jaime, our dad, abuelo, and brother will forever be loved and missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755, US, on July 16, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Eulogy service will be at 3:30 pm.
