James E. Gibson Jr.

James E. Gibson, Jr. age 92 of Beachwood passed away on June 17, 2016 at Tallwoods Care Center, Bayville. Born in Camden, NJ he had lived in Beachwood since 1939. James was a carpenter and later worked as a clerk for Sawyers Liquors in Beachwood. He was a communicant of St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Bayville and a member of the American Legion of Lady Lake, Florida. He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 2011 and his son Raymond in 1998; his is sister Marie Asay and brothers William, Thomas, and Daniel.Surviving are two sons, James Gibson, III of Lady Lake, Florida and Donald Gibson of Tuckerton; two daughter in laws Taffy and Melissa; two brothers, Robert Gibson, Pine Island, Florida and Raymond Gibson of Charleston, South Carolina. Also surviving are his nine loving grandchildren: Sean, Jimmy, Christopher, Donald, Scott, Jeff, Cassidy, Jennifer, and Scotty and his twelve great grandchildren. Visiting will be Tuesday, June 21, 4-8PM at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 22, at 10:30AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers contributions in his name may be made to our veterans.
