Janyse Louise McBride

She departed this life, May 29, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, New Jersey.

Janyse was a lifelong resident of the shore area and attended Toms River High School South.

She enjoyed participating in the marching band, as a color guard. She was also a member of the cheerleading squad.

She worked in the food service industry for several years. Janyse was employed at Shoprite of Waretown, New Jersey.

Janyse was free spirited with a straight forward and always loving personality.

She loved music and dance. She enjoyed being with her family and friends as well as in the company of her nieces and nephews. Janyse and her identical twin sister, Janelle were inseparable.

Janyse had sickle cell anemia however she was a true "Warrior."

Despite having the disease she never let it take over her life! It made her stronger.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Bonita "Bonnie" and Michael Q. McBride Sr., her fiance', Timothy Thomas, ten siblings and three in laws, Michael McBride Jr. of Syracuse, NY, Latonya Ponder (David II) of Decatur, Georgia, Latasha McBride of Baltimore, Maryland, Kisha McBride of Rochester, NY, Tashima Beach (Eric), of Grafenwohr, Germany, Brandyce Burrell of Lakewood, NJ, Stephen Burrell (Jessica) of Neptune, NJ, Identical twin Janelle McBride, of Seaside Heights, NJ, Skylar and Lucas McBride of Ewing, NJ; grandparents, Ann and Linwood Thomas, of Barnegat, NJ, Dave Davis, of Manchester, NJ; Four nieces Evad, Lania, Zaielle, and Luna; five nephews Jaquan, Dakari, Quintin, Kamren, and Xavier, her uncles and aunts, Wayne Davis (Tamara) of Pennsauken, NJ, Linda McClain (Keith) of East Stroudsburg, PA, Jennifer Budd, Cincinnati, OH, Deborah Fielder of Syracuse, NY, Gene McBride (Theresa) of Syracuse NY, Glenn McBride (Brenda) of New Waverly, TX, a host of great aunts and uncles, as well as cousins, a dear close friend that was like a sister, Shonna Wilson.

Janyse was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Ida Louise Owens and Clarence McBride.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday, June 6 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ 08755.
