Jean Ambrosio, 81, of Whippany and Pelican Island, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2019, at NJ Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater with her family by her side. She raised her family in Whippany, NJ, later moving to Pelican Island in 1988. In 2005 she moved to Hackettstown to live with her daughter Patricia. Jean was a volunteer and a member of the Fundraising Committee at Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital in Browns Mills, NJ, and a former member of St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River. Jean enjoyed being surrounded by her family and making a loving home with wonderful memories for them.

Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale Ambrosio in 2004. She is survived by her devoted children: Craig Ambrosio and wife Geraldine of Toms River, Gina Ambrosio, Glen Gardner, and Patricia Fezenko and husband Brian of Hackettstown, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Joan Little of Tuscola, Illinois, and her six grandchildren: Kate, Craig John, Gavin, Faith, Sierra and Luke. Jean will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 8th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. The Funeral Service will be Monday, September 9th, at 11 AM at the Risen Christ Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ.

So very sorry. Jean was a alot of fun when I was with her . She and I laughed alot . Her tenacity for alot of things I feel is what intrigued me the most . Always up for the challenge, I will miss her .

She was a lovely loving lady. Many happy times spent together in my childhood in Whippany. I always admired her love & kindness. So sorry & sending love to Gina, Craig, Trish & grand children.
