

Jeannie was born March 6th, 1964 to Jean Golle and Robert Prince in NYC, NY. Following short stays in The Bronx and Brooklyn, Jeannie and family moved to New Jersey eventually settling in Pine Lake Park, Manchester Township.
Jeannie attended Ridgway Elementary, and Manchester High School, graduating in 1982.
Jeannie had fond memories of her high school years where she played the flute in marching band, lettered in tennis and made many friends. Jeannie continued her education becoming a medical transcriptionist which was her occupation for many years.
Jeannie gave birth to her only child Danny in 1990, who she frequently referred to as her miracle baby, living in Weehawken, NJ until eventually moving to Toms River to be closer to family and raise Danny. Jeannie worked at Shop-Rite, Toms River and Lowe’s Manchester enjoying and excelling in her roles in customer service attested to by her many regular customers.
A lover of nature particularly birds, flowers and the ocean. Jeannie knew many birds by their call or song, watching them either at the feeder or with her binoculars, they brought her great joy. The New York Botanical Gardens was a favorite place and her mother Jean and sister Lori will cherish the memories of day trips to see the flowers and plants of its extensive grounds.
Mostly, Jeannie loved the beach with a particular fondness for 2nd Avenue beach in Seaside Park, where she eventually resided. Always ready to meet you with her beach chair and take in a good soak of the sun's rays.
Most will remember her for her generous spirit, her nonjudgmental demeanor and kindness.
Besides her son, Jeannie was most proud of 35 years as a friend of Bill W’s.
Jean is was preceded in death by her father Robert Prince and is survived by her son Daniel Mowry, Mother, Jean Golle, sister Lori Greitz, brother in law Tom, brother Bob Prince, sister in law Diana Geran, nephew Sullivan Prince, nephew Tom Greitz and wife Alisha, great nephews, Noah and Theo.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Jeannie will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ.
Cremation was private.
