

John was born in New York City and raised in Boonton, NJ. He was a Hospital Executive for 35 years, serving as VP of Pt. Pleasant & Brick hospitals and St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was most recently Executive Director of Monroe Village.
John was an avid collector of music and lover of film. He enjoyed photography, gardening, and camping in Maine. His generosity and love for his family and friends knew no bounds.
He is survived by his wife Karen, two sons Mark and James, brother James, sisters Catherine Strobel and Mary Beth Ubbens and 8 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31 from 4-8p.m. and service Thursday, June 1 at 11a.m. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Cremation will be private.
