John Schaefer was a devoted husband to Gayle, a wonderful father to Steven, Stacey, and Kelly, a loving grandfather to Colin, Megan, Marie, Evan, and Nicholas, and a kind and supportive father-in-law to Pauline, Darlene, and Jim. John was a decorated veteran who fought for his country in Vietnam and a great man who absolutely loved and adored his family. We will miss him and are thankful for all the laughs.
A memorial gathering for John will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, followed by a memorial service at 4:30 PM.
