Jonas Edward Knoeringer, 42, of Lanoka Harbor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Born in Point Pleasant, Jonas was raised and grew up in Beachwood, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Toms River High School South class of 2003.
He worked as an operator for Union 825 but for most of his career, he played a prominent role working alongside his father in the family business, East Coast Liner Co., Inc.
Jonas embraced life with an adventurous spirit. A true thrill seeker, he loved the outdoors and the excitement of trying new things. He had a natural talent for tinkering, often taking things apart, figuring out how they worked, and bringing his ideas to life. He was a jokester with a memorable laugh and created many stories to be told. When he loved, he loved deeply.
Jonas was fortunate to marry his grade school sweetheart, Nicole who he cherished beyond measure. His most meaningful moments were the simple ones shared with his son, Trey. Their time together and the playful memories they created were among the greatest joys of his life.
Jonas is predeceased by his sister, Julie, who passed away in 2026. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Solowynsky; his beloved son, Trey; his parents, John and Patricia Knoeringer; his sister, Amy McMahon and his niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, New Jersey.
