Joseph Csipak, Sr., 84, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and later secured employment in Colombia where he met his loving wife Magdalena. They came to America where he worked as a welder and started a family. Joseph was fluent in three languages. He loved cooking, fishing, swimming in the ocean, gardening, playing the accordion, making people laugh and especially spending time with his family. His greatest calling was his green thumb. Anyone who knew him or lived close to him knew they would have the best tomatoes and peppers all summer long. His other equal love was spending time with his grandchildren and spoiling them as much as he could.
Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife, Magdalena in 1996. Joseph is survived by his loving son Joseph and his wife Eileen, and two grandchildren, Amanda and Justin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, and Toms River, NJ 08753. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 24th at St. Josephs Cemetery, Risen Christ Chapel, 56-80 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River and burial will immediately follow.
