Joseph D’Cunha, 79, passed away on October 31, 2026, in New Jersey, USA. Born on December 23, 1946, in Dharwar, India, he was the beloved son of Josephine and (late) Elias Cunha and brother to (late) Leo, Patsy, Christopher, Maria, Tony, and Rosie.
Joseph earned his medical degree in 1971 as a member of the first graduating class of St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore, India. Retired for many years, he will be remembered for his continuous strong work ethic, curious mind, and his love of walking.
A beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Joseph leaves behind cherished memories among those who knew and loved him. His presence in the lives of his family and friends will be deeply missed, and his memory will be held close to their hearts.
