Joseph Vincent Gallicchio, 77, of Beachwood, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Kimball Medical Center. Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived there before moving to Beachwood 42 years ago. Joseph was a carpenter and a member of New York City Council of Carpenters for over 20 years. With a passion for horse racing, Joseph owned and operated Gallicchio Racing Stables.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Ann (Pizzonia); three children, Debra Rotelli and her husband Joseph, Joseph Gallicchio, and Michael Gallicchio and his wife Esther Marie; and his cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Alyssa, Taylor, Jordan, Joseph, Jillian, Blake, Gianna, Michael and Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St, Toms River. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville. Cremation will be private. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.
