Born and raised in Newark, Josephine moved to the Manchester area where she raised her family and then relocated to the Toms River area years later. She was a media specialist for the Manchester and Toms River School District systems for over 20 years.
Josephine was predeceased by her parents Peter and Christine D'Alessio. Surviving are her sons Robert Onofrietti and his wife Stacy and Marc Onofrietti and his wife Audra; grandchildren Isabella, Giovanna, Julietta, Vivianna, Matteo and Olivianna Onofrietti; sister Lorraine Toppeta and her loving nieces and nephews.
Cremation was private.
A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River.
A Committal Ceremony will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cedar Grove Road, Toms River.
