Joyce Claire Anderson, 85, of Island Heights, NJ, passed away at home on March 26, 2017. She was born in Newark, NJ, to Rufus and Hazel Johnston. Joyce enjoyed cooking and creating a loving, happy home for her family. She loved her dogs and enjoyed spending time with them.
Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband David John Anderson. She is survived by her daughter Dawn Anderson; her grandchildren: Christina Fiorentino, Stephanie Holston, Christopher Holston, and David Holston; and her brother L. Barry Johnston.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 8th, at 11AM, at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s name to your local animal shelter or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
