Kathleen M. Halligan

Kathleen M. Halligan, 68, of Toms River, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Kathleen was born in Toms River and was a lifelong resident. She attended St. Joseph Grammar School, Toms River H.S. South, and Ocean County College, where she received her registered nursing degree. She was a Registered Nurse at Kimball Medical Center in their Oncology Department for the past 14 years.Kathleen was predeceased by her daughter, Colleen in 1990. Surviving are two sons, Francis X. Mc Gough and his wife Raylee of Tampa, Florida, and Shawn Mc Gough and his wife Denise of Texas; one daughter, Heather Woch and her husband Albert of Toms River; two brothers, Francis X. Halligan Jr. and his wife Jayne of Island Heights, and Gregory E. Halligan of Toms River; and seven grandchildren, Kelsey, Alex, Shane, Emma, Ashton, Connor, and Tyler.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at St. Joseph Church in Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
