Kathy Lee Smith

Prior to her retirement, she was a paraprofessional for Wall Primary School and buses. She lived in Wall Township for many years, where she raised her family. She loved God and enjoyed being surrounded by her friends and family. She was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, sister, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend

She was predeceased by her parents, Earl LeRoy Smith Jr. and Jean Elizabeth (Docherty) Smith; and her former husband, Kevin A. Boehm Sr.; She is survived by her children, Kevin Comfort, Brenda Stevens (Rob), Kevin “Chip” A. Boehm Jr. (Kim), D’Arcy Boehm (Kathleen), Peter Boehm; her sister, Jacki Leone; and her brother, Earl “Roy” LeRoy Smith III (Carol); her grandchildren, Jessica Stevens, Tyler Stevens (Amanda), Ryan Comfort, Sean Comfort, and Maverick Boehm; and her great grandchild, Forrest Stevens; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River from 11am to 1pm. Cremation was private.

Due to COVID restrictions, masks are required at all times upon entering and attending services in the funeral home. We ask that you also social distance while paying your respects to the family.
