Laurie Rex Applegate, Jr., “Larry”, age 54 and a lifelong resident of Toms River, NJ, died unexpectedly at home on February 7, 2016. He is survived by his father, Laurie R. Applegate, Sr. and siblings: Scott H. Applegate and his wife Marci; Barbara A. Byrne and her husband Neal; his nephew, Paul Applegate and nieces, Ciara, Aimee, and Elenora Byrne. Larry was predeceased by his loving mother, Ann S. Applegate. He was a Toms River High School North graduate, class of 1979 and member of the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Cremation will be private and a memorial service for family will be at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River.
