

Louise Bertha Bixler, 96, of South Toms River, NJ, passed away on September 7, 2016, at home. She was born in So. Toms River and was the oldest living resident of the borough. She worked for many years as the Welfare Director of the Borough of South Toms River, and as the secretary for the Welfare Department in the Township of Toms River. Louise was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Beachwood. Louise loved flowers, especially Irises and African Violets. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed for the joy she brought her family.
Louise was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Bixler in 2013, her parents Herman and Bertha Sonder and her brother Albert Sonder. She is survived by her daughter Sandra White and her husband Frederick; two grandsons: Frederick White and his wife Martha, and Joseph White; four great-grandsons: Trey, Freddy, Owen, and Alex; and her extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24th, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 130 Cable Ave., Beachwood. Cremation was private. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River was in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.
