

Manuela Ortiz died peacefully Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 89 years of age in Freehold, NJ. She was born in Ensenada, Puerto Rico. She leaves behind her daughters; Jeannette Vazquez, Betty Rod and Sally Torres. In addition she leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren of which all loved her and will miss her dearly.
She was a dedicated housewife and a stay-at-home mom her entire life. She was a seamstress by trade and loved sewing clothes for the family. She thoroughly enjoyed decorating and changing her upholstery constantly as a hobby. She taught her family faith and love in God. She made sure to teach her family to do what was right and to carry themselves with a lot of pride. She was strong in every sense of the word and was a nourishing and very loving mom. She taught her children and grandchildren to be fearless, persistent and that the sky was the limit. Her family will miss her and is thankful for the lessons she taught them. Rest in peace Mom - Grandma. You will live in our hearts and minds forever. We will never forget the values you've instilled in all of us. We will miss you always. Love you with all of our hearts. XO
A visitation for Manuela will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A service will occur Monday, June 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
