Margaret M. DiMeglio, age 79, of Toms River NJ, passed away on October 17, 2020 due to various illnesses. Born on November 7, 1940 in the Bronx, New York, Marge met her husband, Giuseppe (Joseph) DiMeglio on a blind date arranged by her brother-in-law Ed F. Whelan Jr. They married shortly thereafter and spent the next 61 wonderful years together.
She was an active member of Saint Maximilian Kolbe Church in Toms River. She devoted much of her life to raising her children and working as a Nurse’s Aide.
Marge is survived by her husband Joseph; her children Michael, Steve, Joe and their wives Fern, Kate, and Karen; and her grandchildren: Michelle, Samantha, Stephanie, Joey, Travis, and Nicole. She is also survived by her sister Mary, her brother Tom and his wife Terry.
The funeral mass will be offered at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Church, 130 Saint Maximilian Lane, Toms River, NJ 08757. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate.
