Margaret spent most of her working years as a factory worker, retiring at the age of 70.
While married to her husband, she volunteered her time being a chaperone for the children who marched and competed in drum and bugle corps where her husband, Jack (BJ), was the director. Margaret was known as "Ma Taylor" and treated every one of those children as her own.
Her life always revolved around her family and she loved spending time with them. When speaking with Margaret, she never missed an opportunity to talk about her pride and joy.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Dawson Taylor; her parents, Samuel and Jean Brandes; and her brother, Sam. She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Jean, Linda Gail and Cindy Marie; her grandchildren, John Carlos, Brian James and Kelsey Marie; and her great-granddaughter, Harper Grace.
There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends at the home of her daughter from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 18th.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret's memory to:
