Marian Barbara Kuch, 79, of Whiting, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born in Elizabeth NJ, she lived in Westfield before moving to Ocean Beach in 1965 and then to Brick. From 1975 she lived in Cape Coral Fl until moving to Whiting NJ in 1995. Marian worked for Ocean County Medical Labs and also for Cedar Bridge Medical Group in Brick. She retired as a Lab Technician for Dr. Purvis and Dr. O'Brien in Cape Coral, Fl in 1995 after 20 years of dedicated service. Marian was a member of Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation and was the Financial Secretary for the Cape Coral Chapter; the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 90, Cape Coral; the Moose Lodge in Ortley Beach, serving as Financial Secretary; and also a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting.
She was predeceased by her husband Stephen V. Kuch in 2004; her sons, Stephen V. Kuch II and Joseph H. Kuch; a brother Hank Waltonowski; her sisters Dorothy Murphy and Marlene Cockley Rhodes; and long time friend Frank Wanca. Surviving are her sons, Kevin Kuch and his wife Donna, Stanley "Stash" Kuch and his wife Dawn Marie and David Kuch and his wife Cindylynn; daughter-in-law Sue Kuch; her Aunt Olga Hamilton; sister-in-laws Virginia Kuch and Mary Ann Waltonowski; brother-in-law Timothy Murphy; 10 cherished grandchildren, Meghan Figueroa and her husband Jason, Kelsey, Melissa Denning and her husband Thomas, Stanley II., Stacey, Kyle, David II., Brian, Kelly, Trisha Costello and her husband Michael; and 2 adored great grandchildren Luke and Keegan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 20 Pine Mill Rd., Browns Mills NJ 08015 in Marian's memory.
