

Marie Camilla Foster, age 88, passed away on May 3, 2013 after a brave battle with cancer. Daughter of Joseph and Margaret Boudreau, she was born in Jacquet River, New Brunswick, Canada as one of seven children. She was married for 67 years to Arthur G. Foster. They had two daughters, Pat and Veronica; three grandchildren, Melanie, Lauren and Jonathan; and four great-grandchildren Patrick, Lillian, Collin and Julia. She cherished the ongoing contact with her many Canadian relatives throughout the years since moving to the USA in 1945.
Marie, also known as "Cam" was an accomplished seamstress, and utilized her skills in her first US employment in a lingerie factory at the end of World War II. Cam was an active volunteer, both in the Girl Scouts as a troop leader and trainer, as well as with the Church, as President of The Rosary Society and as a member of their Cana marriage ministry leadership. Avid music lovers, she and Art sang with their Church choir and participated in local community theater productions. Playing the piano while Art accompanied her on his clarinet was a daily pleasure for them both. Together they enjoyed domestic and international travel, frequently returning to their native Canada in addition to journeys the Holy Land, Rome and Caribbean cruises. Other hobbies included bridge, tennis and bowling. After raising her family, Cam further dedicated herself to helping others as a home health aide and medical assistant until her retirement.
Her later years were spent enjoying her family and friends in and around her home in Toms River, New Jersey. She will be missed.
