Marie K. Miccio

Marie was born in Harlem, NY and lived in Brooklyn, and Plainedge, NY before moving to Toms River, NJ in 1960. Marie was employed at American Express, and subsequently as an assistant to Clarence Lewis a prominent Manhattan financial district investment banker. She was a life member of Deborah Heart and Lung Center, and a communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Toms River.

Marie was predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Assunta Murano, a brother John and

Rose Murano, and her husband of 60 years Anthony J. Miccio in 2007.

She is survived by her son Dr. Anthony G. Miccio, and his wife Alyssa of Port Murray, NJ.

Her daughters Dr. Barbara Stahl and her husband Dr. Richard Stahl of Madison, CT, and Carla

Polhemus and her husband John of Toms River, NJ. She is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren Noah, Micah, Adam, and Rachel Stahl. Jonathan, and Christopher Polhemus, and Lauren Brouwer. Jessica, Anthony, and Carson Miccio, and Jonathan, Julia, andJayden Melicharek.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph RC Church, 685 Hooper Ave. Toms River. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
