Born in Staten Island, he lived there and in Marlboro
for many years before settling in Holiday City South in 2013.
Prior to his retirement in 1985, Mr. DiNatale was a New York City Police Officer for ten years.
A man with a great sense of humor, he held a private pilot's license and owned a Cessna 154 for many years.
He enjoyed golf and telling jokes.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Helen (Barone) DiNatale and his sister, Angie Carroll, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Freeo) DiNatale; and his daughter, Dawn Gage and her husband Steven of Brick.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 11-1, with a funeral service at 12:45 at the funeral home.
