Marion was born in Orange, New Jersey to Gerhard and Susan Masuhr on July 12th, 1948. She was a graduate of Central Regional High School and then later attended Ocean County College where she became a Paralegal serving for the State of New Jersey Supreme courts in Ocean County. She had a love for the ocean, science and anything to do with space, not to mention a jewel in the ruff from a yard sale here and there. Marion was preceded in the death by her older brother Gerhard Masuhr and her step son Darren DeSousa.
Marion is survived by her husband of 40 years, Daniel, her siblings Thomas Masuhr, Susan Nichols and Brother-in-Law Patrick, Kenneth Masuhr and Sister-in-Law Veronica. Sons Jeffrey and Thomas Nycz as well as Step Sons Philip and Dennis DeSousa. She was a beloved Grandmother and Great Grandmother of so many of her little angels she would say.
