

She was born to the late Harry and Gladys Deakin in Newark, NJ, on June 23, 1925.
She lived in New Jersey her entire life, most recently in Lakewood and then Whiting prior to her move to Care One.
Marge attended Matawan High School before attending the St. Barnabas School of Nursing in Newark, NJ where she was in the class of 1946 and graduated as a Registered Nurse.
She worked for many years as the Director of Nursing at the Summit Nursing Home in Lakewood and the Point Pleasant Beach Nursing Home.
Marge loved to travel and took a Mediterranean cruise to Malta, made multiple trips to England, toured Germany and Austria, cruised to the Bahamas, and made trips around the US to places like Denver and Disney World in Orlando.
Marge is survived by her children, Jeffrey Morey of North Charleston, SC; Susan Morey Parks, of Severn, MD; Judith Morey, of Washington, NC; Robin Williams of Clarksville, TN; Robert Taylor, of Denver, CO; and Sherri Taylor-Marsh, of Toms River, NJ.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Christopher Parks of Antrim, NH; Steven Morey of Summerville, SC; Robert Morey, Columbia, SC; Amy Bradley of Tinton Falls, NJ; and Steven Williams Jr. of Clarksville, TN; and by her brother, Richard Deakin, of Venice, FL.
She also leaves behind numerous loving great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Marge was an active member in the community and was proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Point Pleasant Beach Lions Club where she participated in various fundraising and community service projects.
A graveside service will be held 11:00am on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Monmouth Memorial Park, 4201 Rt. 33, Tinton Falls, NJ 07753.
The arrangements are under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services of Toms River, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lions Clubs International Foundation, www.lcif.org earmarked for Disaster Relief.
