Martha Ann Caruso

Martha Ann Caruso, 86, of Beachwood passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River surrounded by her loving family. Born in Long Branch, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Beachwood. Martha was a realtor and office manager, working alongside her husband Michael at Toms River Realty for many years. She was a devoted Navy wife, mother and grandmother. Martha was a member of the Seaside Heights Moose Lodge and the Italian and American Club. She was an amazing cook, baker and artist. Martha loved crocheting special gifts for family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Martha Christopher, her sister Rosemarie Binder and her daughter-in-law Lisa Caruso. Surviving are her husband of 57 years Michael; her children Joseph Caruso and wife Lisa, Nancy Seibert and husband William, Michael Caruso Jr., Dominic Caruso, Salvatore Caruso and wife Cecilia, and Teresa Caruso; her cherished grandchildren Joey, Teresa, Greg, Samantha, Tiffany, Alexander, Michael, Amy and Alec; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 5th from 4 to 7 p.m. with a service 6:00 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org in memory of Martha. Cremation will be private.
