Mary Ann Lopez

Mary Ann Lopez, age 82, of Whiting, NJ passed away at Community Medical Center on Monday, April 18, 2022.  Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Kaszyk. She lived in Woodbridge and Toms River before moving to the Crestwood Village community in Whiting  17 years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband Ray J. Lopez in 1993.

Mary Ann was a pit clerk at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City for many years before retiring at age 66. She spent much of her retirement time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching her granddaughter pole vault at track meets and taking occasional trips to play cards in Atlantic City.

Mary Ann is survived by Tina Moyer, her daughter and her husband Mark, Joseph Koslowski, her son, Eileen Gackeler her sister, and her husband Bill, Two adult grandchildren Ryan and Dayna Moyer, and her nephew Bill Gackeler.

Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering and luncheon in memory and celebration of Mary Ann that will take place at the home of Tina & Mark Moyer, 16 Icemeadow Lane, Aberdeen, NJ on Saturday April 23, 2022 between 1pm – 4pm.
