Extending my deepest sympathy and praying that faith will give everyone strength in this sad time. I will always remember "Mother Mary" for her sweet smile and beautiful nature. She made the best french toast ever, and always made me feel like I was her own daughter. I never got the chance to show her the scar on my stomach, because she told me that one day, I may have a scar of my own, and she was right. I will never forget our conversation in her kitchen on Vaughn Avenue that one morning after spending the night. Mary raised a BEAUTIFUL family as she was a beauty herself. Inside and out. May God keep you all in his embrace at this difficult time <3

Mary had the patience of a saint, she always found the good in the bad. One day I went to her house with my youngest at the time, Raymond. As Mary & I were talking Raymon picked up a glass candy dish and threw it down the stairs, to my embarrassment. As I was known to do I got mad, Mary calmly said "Don't worry, he is probably upset about something ", and she hugged Raymond and I proceeded to clean up the broken glass. All the time she was smiling which calmed me down. She was my rock, she taught me how to be a good mother. Rest in Peace..

Aunt Mary always knew how to put a smile on your face and warm up your heart. I always loved seeing her. A voicemail with her singing “Happy Birthday” to me always put a smile on my face and made me feel special, especially after my grandma (her sister) had passed away. I can still hear her voice and will always keep her memories in my heart.

Donna and Family, I am not sure I ever met your Mom but to have such a warm, friendly, beautiful daughter, I am sure she was the same. We are very sorry for your loss and pray for strength as you learn to navigate through life without her yet knowing she will be pain free and surrounded with love spiritually. Our sympathy to all of you. Scarlett and Randy

Some of my fondest memories were playing with all of my cousins at family gatherings at Aunt Mary's home. Aunt Mary was blessed with a kind, loving and generous spirit that brought a smile to everyone who knew her.
I am also thankful she was best friends with my Mom in high school because Aunt Mary introduced my Mom to her brother, my Dad. Without her, I may have never existed. She will live forever in our hearts.
