Mary Itak

Born in Belfast, Ireland, Mary relocated to the United States in 1952. She and her husband, Frank, were married on April 22, 1961 at Saint Thomas Church in Bloomfield. At that time they moved to Point Pleasant, where they resided for the next forty years until retiring and moving to Toms River.

She was a parishioner at St. Martha's Roman Catholic Church in Point Pleasant, and was a crossing guard for Point Pleasant Borough.

Mary was predeceased by her parents John and Hanah Reddy, and her husband Frank in 2017. Surviving are her sons & daughters-in-law, Stephen and Jeanne Itak of Princeton Junction; Frank and Karina Itak of Toms River; John Itak of Toms River; and daughter and son-in-law Susan and Thomas Levash of Somerville. Mary also leaves behind five grandchildren: Kelsey, Sara, Timothy, Keyla and Esteban.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to the visitation Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 6 to 9pm with a service at 8:30pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation is private.
