Mary Carmel Lange

Born in Newfoundland, Canada, she resided in Kearny before moving to Toms River 40 years ago.

Carmel was a secretary at Community Medical Center of Toms River for 10 years, retiring in 2013.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dave; two daughters, Dawn Duelly and her husband Frank, and Laurie Paxton and her husband Keith; eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Kevin and Greg Janssen, Donovan, Fallon, and Brogan Duelly, Kim and Logan Paxton; three brothers, Tom, Vester, and Jim Shea, and six sisters, Sister Pius Shea, Bess Wozniak, Kathleen Brokaw, Mary Harte, Sharon Turpin and Alice Shea.

There will be a memorial gathering on Wednesday, December 2, from 7-9 PM at HORIZON FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ

A Memorial Mass will be offered on Thursday, (time to be determined) at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, followed by the enichement at St. Joseph Cemetery.
