Mehmet Efe, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away on August 14, 2026, at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. He was 62 years old.
Born on September 25, 1963, in Silifke, Turkey, Mehmet’s life spanned continents and experiences that shaped who he became. After being adopted and brought to the United States, he maintained a strong connection to his Turkish roots. From 1982 to 1985, he proudly served in the Turkish military, an important chapter of his life.
Mehmet lived with an adventurous spirit, enjoying skydiving, the beach, traveling, and discovering new places. He also loved cooking and found joy in sharing meals.
Above all, his greatest love was his family. He leaves behind his wife, Linda; his daughter, Jenna Deacon; and his grandson, Thomas Deacon. His love and presence will live on in their memories and in the lives he touched.
Mehmet will be deeply missed and forever remembered. He leaves behind many who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, on August 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home at11:30 am. Burial will be private.
