Michael J. Kucyk Jr.

Michael Joseph Kucyk Jr., of Manchester Township passed away at Community Medical Center August 13, 2013 at the age of 65. Born in Trenton, Michigan, he had lived in Howell and Toms River, NJ before moving to Manchester Township 10 years ago. He worked for the Marlboro Middle School as a teacher for 35 years retiring in March of 2012. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was the Chairman for the Toys for Tots Marlboro Middle School Organization. He was the Commissioner of the Monmouth Indoor Basketball League, Monmouth County. He was a Member of the Howell Township Committee serving as Mayor of Howell in 1989.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Joan, two sons, Michael Joseph Kucyk III and his wife Sharon of Freehold, NJ, and John Patrick Morgan Kucyk and his wife Jessica of Bayville, NJ. Also survived by his Granddaughter Miranda Rose , two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held Friday August 16, 2013 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753 with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday August 17, 2013 at 9 am at the St. Joseph Church, Toms River. Burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River.
