Mildred Lynch

Our dear mother, Mildred (Millie) Lynch (nee Kubinak), sadly passed away on June 5th at the age of 85. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. The youngest of nine children, Millie was raised in Tottenville, Staten Island. She worked as an executive secretary to the deputy superintendents of Arthur Kill Correctional Facility for more than twenty years.  After retiring she moved with her husband Jack (John Lynch) to Hawley, Pa. where she enjoyed photographing nature and wildlife.

Millie was creative and talented at sewing, making many outfits for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed quilting and knitting. Our mother was very tech savvy, accessing the internet and having an email address long before this was common. 

Millie was predeceased by her husband Jack, of 62 years. Millie is survived by sons, Jay, Brian and Jamie; daughters, Kathleen and Kerry; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held for Mildred on June 14, 2023, from 5PM to 7PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
